[...] Even a simple line defines a space and can be a sign of order. The architecture is playing with the idea of ​​arranging thespace in opposition to chance, but unfortunately in recent decades seems to have lost this priority: the role of the architect is to give it back. The line that defines unequivocally the Florentine space, order sign in the city skyline is definitely the Dome. By its silhouette it creates a sign, becoming a logo that gets set up and multiplies, changing scale and size, but mantains its ordering function in the Florentine architecture. [...]
